OvuGuard is a medical device fertility monitor that simultaneously measures biomarkers of Body Basal Temperature (BBT) and quality, conditions of cervical mucus indicating ovulation activity. The device, a vaginal probe includes sensitive genuine electronic temperature sensor that senses Body Basal Temperature (BBT) and infrared sensor detecting the viscosity and conditions of cervical mucus. OvuGuard has a cover with UV light sterilizer.
The programmed microprocessor processed the sensor's voltage signal in real time outputting with LED lights illumination, LCD text display and sound alarm indicating infertility or fertility of user. The invention has two models, the stand-alone (non-wireless mode) and a wireless mode connected to computing devices loaded with reactive application software. It sends real time data points of BBT and cervical mucus to the cloud platform named Family & Lifestyle Planner powered by AI Lifestyle Metrics Engine. The cloud platform integrates the ovulation data with other lifestyle metrics such as fertility, health, exercise, stress levels, sleep levels, and nutrition. Both the wireless mode connected to computing devices and the stand-alone detect BBT and conditions of cervical mucus few seconds of vaginal insertion in real time.
Fertility is a normal healthy function of the woman's body. Healthy women are only fertile a few days each menstrual cycle. This fertile window is about six (6) days long - the five (5) days before ovulation and the day of ovulation. Most healthy women have cycles that usually range from 26 to 32 days while only 12% of menstrual cycle are stereotypical 28 days long.
Smartphone period trackers or fertility apps including Apple Watch and Fitbit are now a part of many women's tool to monitor their menstrual cycle or help them plan or prevent pregnancy. In 2016 alone at least 200 million times such apps were downloaded. But most apps have disclaimers and few are medically certified.
Fertility Apps offer a convenient way to track fertility biomarkers. However, only some use evidence-based fertility awareness-based methods (FABMs) which with ideal use and accuracy of the technology have rates of effectiveness similar to those of commonly used contraceptive pills and artificial hormones injection.
Since having a baby or planning a family are important responsibilities, it is critical that women and couples have access to reliable, evidence-based medically certified technology that allow them to accurately track their fertility.
OvuGuard is based on evidence-based FABMs (except symto-hormonal methods) and is under certification medical device that accurately predict the ovulation period. Women of reproductive age have to buy OvuGuard once in their lifetime, not every month for contraceptive pills and every two years for hormonal injections including the use of expensive implanted contraceptive products.
Today, up to 60% of women express interest in using natural or fertility awareness-based methods (FABMs) to plan a family. These methods are attractive because there is no medical side effects, are effective, low cost and empower women to control their bodies.
Disclaimer: The product OvuGuard description will be similar or different from OvuGuard as marketed.
Women empowerment is the ability to prevent unintended pregnancy and non-clinical abortion. Delaying pregnancies in young girls who are at increased risk of health problem from early childbearing, and preventing pregnancies among older women who also face increased risks, are important health benefits of planning a family.
Family planning is imperative for parents to invest in their children and adapt a healthy lifestyle to strengthen the family relationship. OvuGuard induced family planning enabled women to make informed decisions about whether and when to have children. It reduces unintended pregnancies and protect the health of mothers and new born. Family planning allows parents to attain their desired number of children, if any, and to determine the spacing of their pregnancies.
Unsafe sex is the situation that partners may have placed themselves at risk of an STI, or HIV. Having sex if the woman is fertile may lead to achieving pregnancy or unwanted pregnancy.
The Video shows OvuGuard prototype testing with LCD display, light illumination and sound alarm from Body Basal Temperature (BBT) sensor and sensor for cervical mucus. Electrical signal outputs show the user is fertile. To achieve or prevent pregnancy the use of automatic medical fertility monitor OvuGuard is the most economical and practical method than spending monthly on contraceptive pills, twice a year hormonal injections, and expensive contraceptive products.
Safe sex is sexual contact that doesn't involve the exchange of semen, vaginal fluids or blood between partners. If the intention of partners is to achieve pregnancy, sex if the woman is fertile as accurately determined by OvuGuard is the best thing to do.
Video of OvuGuard prototype testing with LCD display, light illumination, and sound alarm from temperature sensor and infrared sensor outputs that detect infertile status of user. OvuGuard automatically determines ovulation period without user's inputs. Within seconds of vaginal insertion, fertility or infertility notification is activated - LCD display, light illumination, and audible alarm.
Cre8tology Corporation will use data and sensors in all its products and cloud services that constantly collect and send data points to the cloud in real time. Applying data to our everyday activities is a way of saying that we bring empirical evidence of how the world works.
The advancement in computer chips and sleek algorithm inject intelligence and automation in all human activities. But the actual intelligence is data sent from digital sensors in real time. Artificial Intelligence depends on data to analyze and interpret.
